JRM goes on the road with Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3

This weekend sees JR Motorsports head to Germany for the start of a European promotional campaign for the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3. The company will display the latest version of its already successful GT3 contender in the paddock at Nürburgring, where the circuit's annual 24-hour race and the second round of the Avon Tyres British GT Championship are being held.

Teams, owners and drivers are invited to come and take a look around the car and chat to members of the JRM GT3 project team who will be on hand to answer questions. The car will be located next to the JRM truck and situated in the British GT section of the Grand Prix circuit paddock from Thursday to Saturday, 17 - 19 May.

JRM has already sold three cars: one to RJN Motorsport, the British team responsible for running the Nissan Playstation GT Academy winners in this year's Blancpain Endurance Series; Leipzig-based Schulze Motorsport, who are contesting the ADAC Masters Championship and JMH Automotive, who scored the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3's first outright race win recently and are currently strong contenders for the British GT Championship.

The RJN and JMH cars will race in the two, one-hour, British GT Championship races that take place on the Grand Prix circuit at 16.30 on Saturday and 09.30 on Sunday. The ADAC 24-hours of Nürburgring is held on the full 25km Nordschleife circuit and will see an incredible 150 entries start the race at 16.00 on Saturday.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 is a joint development between NISMO (Nissan Motorsports International Co. Ltd.) and JRM (JR Motorsports), who are responsible for manufacturing, production and sales in Europe, Russia and the Middle East. Cars destined for these territories will be constructed by JRM at their Daventry technical facility, with each one built to customer specifications.
