Rebellion Racing comment on Lola situation

REBELLION Racing is saddened to receive the news that Lola Group Holdings has issued Notices of intention to appoint an Administrator to Lola Cars International Limited and Lola Composites Limited.

It will be an uncertain time for the employees of Lola Cars and Composites over the coming days and weeks, there are good people there and many of them are our friends as well as being our largest supplier.

We hope that a positive outcome will emerge from the Administration and that the hard work, commitment and vision that made Lola Cars International into a top flight supplier of sportscars will evolve further as time goes on.

For ourselves, at REBELLION Racing, our focus is very much that the show must go on and so we are focussed on the challenges ahead.  Just over a week ago, REBELLION Racing finished in first and second place of the Privateers in the second round of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship at Spa Francorchamps.

With the biggest race of the season just around the corner at Le Mans in a few weeks time, REBELLION Racing will be there with our two Lola-Toyota B12/60 coupes aiming for a podium finish whilst battling for top Privateer and petrol powered honours.

Looking further ahead, REBELLION Racing will work with the companies that have been part of the vast array of subcontract suppliers to Lola Cars International and our intention is to continue campaigning our two Lola-Toyota B12/60 coupes for the rest of the season with the aim of securing the 2012 FIA Endurance Trophy for the best private LMP1 team.
