Isaac Tutumlu approaching glamorous meeting in Monaco

After cancellation of the race at Circuit de Catalunya, where the organization noticed a deformation on the rims of some cars, FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport´s driver feels motivated in Monaco, a well-known venue in motorsport world.

Isaac Tutumlu will contest his first event of 2012 in the Porsche Supercup next weekend. Tutumlu, Spaniard of Kurdish heritage, should have made his comeback at home event in Barcelona, but the race was cancelled by organization when a deformation on the rims of some cars was noticed at the start. Unfortunately for former WTCC driver, he missed his first race on Spanish soil.

Tutumlu is back in Monaco at the wheel of a FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport´s car and explained that “I am looking forward for my first race this season in the Porsche Supercup series. It was a shame the cancellation at Circuit de Catalunya, but I think Monaco is a perfect venue for my comeback. Almost thirty cars are awaited for this round, and for sure it will be a challenge for everyone on the asphalt. We will be using BBS rims again, a being a well-established brand will a success guarantee”. Concerning his targets, “mine will be of course as good results as possible. It will be very difficult, because there will be a lot of professional drivers and any sort of small mistake could mean a heavy crash. Fortunately I know the track, unlike 2011 when I completed only two laps in free practice session. I will focus on learning every secret to be quick at this venue. I think a good qualifying session is mandatory, because your position on the starting grid will decide what you can achieve in race”.

There are changes in the timetable, when free practice session scheduled on Thursday at 15.55 (CET). Meanwhile qualifying session will be on Friday at 9.00 (CET). Finally, the race is holding a similar schedule to other meetings, starting on Sunday at 9.45 (CET) and being broadcasted live by Eurosport.
