Facu Regalia aiming for podium in Germany

Argentina´s driver, after a promising debut in the European F3 Open at Autódromo do Algarve, where he had a fantastic performance in both qualifying sessions and was close to podium in race, approaches a new challenge at Nürburgring.

Facu Regalia will race his second meeting in the European F3 Open next weekend, being one of the championships where he is contesting for Campos Racing. The young Argentinean driver made a good debut in Portugal last month, because he was 2nd and 3rd in qualifying sessions and both races went in a positive way too finishing in 6th and 4th respectively.“I am working as hard as I can for next German venue. We made very interesting progress during our two-day test at Circuit de Valencia. Our feedback was very good and I am sure that those set-up details will be quite useful at Nürburgring. In addition, my new engineer is a very experienced man and without doubts he will be playing a key role for success”, Regalia explained. Nürburgring, Regalia added, “is a track which I like. From my debut there during my European Formula BMW days has been very suitable for my driving style and it will be another morale booster for everyone else at Campos Racing. Both my team and I will try our best for leaving Germany happy with our results. Our aim is to come closer to overall classification leader and, if we can clinch a podium finish, even better”, 20 years old driver finally explained.
