World Victory for Forè and CRG

CRG has been used to winning in Asia over the last 20 years, and this time too it has conquered an important victory on this continent, where karting is a synonym for passion and enthusiasm. Davide Forè was the author of this success in Japan, on the famous circuit of Suzuka, which hosted the first round of the World KF1 Championship. The CRG Racing Team also enabled Felice Tiene to climb onto the podium twice. The CRG 2012 chassis showed again a very high performance level.

There were as many as five CRG drivers on the World KF1 Championship grid at Suzuka. From the very beginning of the meeting, the Italians Felice Tiene and Davide Forè were in the lead pack behind the wheels of their CRGs powered by BMB engines prepared by KVS. Felice and Davide, who were fourth and fifth respectively after the heats, crossed the finish line shoulder to shoulder in those same positions in Race 1, with a gap of just 0.02 seconds between the two of them! With his sixth place, Jordon Lennox-Lamb completed this excellent overall performance on the part of the CRG team.In Race 2, Forè was involved in a collision, while his team mate Tiene continued his attack and claimed the third step of the podium. CRG was also extremely satisfied with the recovery from 16th to 5th staged by an excellent Japanese driver, Kenta Yamashita.

The second day began with the best auspices for CRG thanks to Tiene's first place after the qualifying heats. Felice fought for victory right to the end in Race 3 and claimed his second podium in a row by finishing second. Three CRG drivers made it again to the top 6, with Davide Forè in fifth place just ahead of Jordon Lennox-Lamb.CRG concluded its weekend in beauty in Race 4, with Davide Forè's triumph. But it had been Felice Tiene who had dominated most of the race, although an incident on the last lap stopped him despite his determination. Waiting in ambush, Forè used all his experience to lead his CRG-BMB to victory. "I would like to thank my team for putting their trust in me and for their huge technical expertise", said the multiple World Champion. Tiene and Forè are now third and fourth respectively in the general classification and will certainly fight to improve their standings during the final round, to be held in Macao in October.

Joyner and LH: Four Times in Top 10

Tom Joyner, too, was at Suzuka to defend the colours of LH chassis manufactured by CRG. The Briton, who also had a BMB engine prepared by KVS, played an important role throughout the weekend, and was 7th, 9th, 7th and then 6th in his four races in Japan. He even had the honour of starting from the first line on Saturday after his brilliant performances in qualifying.
