Tutumlu, a Spaniard driver with Kurdish heritage, has had an positive first contact with the hardest track over the course of the year from a driver´s point. “We focused on putting experience under my belt, and to avoid any sort of incident which could have prevented me to complete my schedule for today”, Tutumlu explained. He added as well that “we are saving a new set of tires for Valencia, and today I used one from the round in Barcelona. So, I could have improved my best lap using this second set but our choice was to save it”.

At the end of the session, his best lap was 1:41.542, but as Tutumlu explained “I had no chances to complete a lap at full speed, because almost every lap yellow flags were waved. The conclusions were positive for FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport and Tutumlu because “my target today was to discover the limits at the track. Tomorrow
