The Spaniard driver of Kurdish background, at the wheel of FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport´s car, completed his first Porsche Supercup session on streets of Monaco and his feedback was pretty positive.
Isaac Tutumlu took part today in the free practice session of the Porsche Supercup series in Monaco. Unlike other meetings, free practice session wasn´t scheduled on Friday but Thursday. Tutumlu, a Spaniard driver with Kurdish heritage, has had an positive first contact with the hardest track over the course of the year from a driver´s point. “We focused on putting experience under my belt, and to avoid any sort of incident which could have prevented me to complete my schedule for today”, Tutumlu explained. He added as well that “we are saving a new set of tires for Valencia, and today I used one from the round in Barcelona. So, I could have improved my best lap using this second set but our choice was to save it”.
At the end of the session, his best lap was 1:41.542, but as Tutumlu explained “I had no chances to complete a lap at full speed, because almost every lap yellow flags were waved. My ideal lap was one more than a second faster and, in addition, checking my car´s telemetry we noticed two braking points where I could improve my lap time a lot”. The conclusions were positive for FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport and Tutumlu because “my target today was to discover the limits at the track. Tomorrow
