Clio Cup Star Confirmed as Want2Race Instructor

Want2race have today confirmed the exciting news that Jack Goff, Clio Cup racing driver, is confirmed as one of the instructors at the June 2012 event. Want2Race is a race experience day with a difference, where one lucky participant will be transformed into a real racing driver – a prize worth over £1000 – making this one of the UK’s most exciting driving competitions.

Budding kart, track day and general Motorsport enthusiasts will take to the circuit in real Lotus Elise race cars on the Blyton Park Circuit in Lincolnshire. They will also be treated to karting sessions and experience the UK’s only 3D Formula 1 simulator on what proves to be another extremely exciting driving experience day.

Ben Hyland, organiser of want2race explains; “This is really thrilling for us and all the competitors, Jack Goff is the current championship leader in one of the UK’s most exciting and action packed series, the Clio Cup. Jack’s talent & race experience will be invaluable for the competitors to tap into and Jack will be on circuit with drivers to help improve their driving technique & car control on the limit”.

Jack Goff comes to want2race as current leader in the Clio Cup Championship with two wins already under his belt this season. Jack said; “This concept is a great way for drivers to get to have a fun experience, learn new skills & potentially walk away as a real racing driver like me. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone on the day and helping to pick the winner who impresses most out on circuit in the race cars”.

In light of the news of Jack Goff joining the want2race team in June, the organisers also have some very special news; Hyland Said “We have just invested in a Clio Cup car which will be available on the day for people to have a go around the track with – we feel this is a great addition to the Lotus Elise cars and of course now Jack is there to show us all how it is done.”

 Alain Corbiau from Belgium won the 2011 want2race competition and recently took part in his first race event at Silverstone in the Lotus Elise Trophy, finishing an impressive 11th overall out of over 30 drivers. “I still can’t believe I have won it. Thanks to everybody from want2race to make my dream become reality. I would recommend everybody to enter the want2race competition  that wants to start racing!” Alain said after winning want2race.

Want2Race is next at Blyton Park circuit in Lincolnshire on Friday 22nd June, with entries costing £195 per person for anyone over the age of 21 years who does not hold a current MSA car license. The winner will receive their ARDS race license test plus an official test session in a Lotus Elise race car, a prize worth over £1000.All driver entries must be submitted online with full details & terms and conditions being found on want2race.co.uk
