Chelsea AutoLegends Festival 2012 officially launched in sunny London

Wednesday saw the launch of the third annual Chelsea AutoLegends Festival at The Royal Hospital Chelsea. Over 120 VIPs, celebrities, motorsport stars and media arrived at the iconic venue basking in the morning London sun to hear from event partners, including:

·         Major General Peter Currie CB, The Royal Hospital Chelsea, home to the Chelsea Pensioners

·         Fergus Williams, co-founder of Armed Forces charity Walking with the Wounded

·         Lord Drayson of Kensington, patron of the new Techno Park feature at Chelsea AutoLegends 2012

·         Supermodel and racing driver Jodie Kidd, one of the patrons of the Castrol Women in Motorsport feature at Chelsea AutoLegends 2012

Over 30 supercars, racing cars and motorcycles were on display, including:

·         Formula One cars, such as 2012 Marussia F1 Team car, 1990 Benetton F1 car

·         Racing cars, such as ‘Hairy Canary’ AC Cobra, Ferrari TDF, Maserati 300s, Lola T70

·         Le Mans cars, such as Aston Martin GT2, Le Mans winning Porsche 965 GT1, Ford GT40, Ex-Works Le Mans MGB

·         Rally cars, such as Ford Focus WRC

·         Supercars, such as Ferrari F40, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari 250 Lusso, Maserati, Lamborghini Gallardo

·         Motorcycles, such as Ace Café 904s Thruxton, a number of custom Harley Davidsons, Triumph Speed Triple, Moto Guzzi Café Racer
