Bryan Hixon Gets First Series Win

 in SCCA Pro Racing Mazda MX-5 Playboy Cup/Skip Barber MAZDASPEED Pro Challenge at Road America

This past week, racers from all over the country gathered at world-renonwed Road

America for the NASCAR Nationwide Series/Grand-AM Rolex Series. Starting on the pole for the second round in a row, Bryan Hixon held off Skip Barber MAZDASPEED Pro Challenge points leader Zach Lee to get his first win in the series. Hixon started in the lead and built a solid lead until a restart brought him back to the pack. Off the restart, Hixon stayed sharp to finish with an impressive lead over Lee who finished in second. Lee battled with David Knight for second down the stretch. Knight finished third. Andrew Hobbs finished fourth. Round 7 in the MAZADASPEED Pro Challenge will be held in Bowmanville, Ontario, at the Mosport International Raceway with American Le Mans Series July 25-28.
