Project Brabham Introduces Christmas Gift Box

Project Brabham has introduced a special new Gift Box perk to its Indiegogo crowdfunding page, offering yet another way for fans across the globe to pledge their support to David Braham’s mission to bring back the legendary Brabham Racing team with an open source racing model for fans, drivers and engineers.

The Project Brabham Gift Box has been introduced following feedback from its near-on 2,000 funders who wanted to turn their crowdfunding contribution into a gift in perfect time for Christmas.

The stylish, limited edition box set includes a one-off certificate with the recipient’s name and unique contribution number, signed by David Brabham; a limited edition iconic Brabham print; a classy metal Brabham pen; a Project Brabham sew-on badge; and branded Project Brabham lanyard. All packaged in an attractive presentation box with options for UK and international mailing.

Those wishing to give the ultimate gift can also make a further contribution to secure a minimum of three years access to any of the immersive Brabham-Digital web applications – Brabham-Fan, Brabham-Driver and Brabham-Engineer. When the crowdfunding campaign is complete, contributors will receive a unique code to create the Brabham-Digital login to print off and place in the Gift Box. Already one of the fastest growing campaigns on Indiegogo, motorsport enthusiasts from 58 countries have already backed Project Brabham, proving the desire to see Brabham Racing return as a world-class team with openness and transparency at its core.

The Project Brabham crowdfunding total continues to climb and edge ever closer to reaching its first target of £250,000 which, once hit, will ensure the front-end of the new Brabham-Digital portal can be delivered, enabling fans to watch and contribute to the team’s initial stages of development.

With 20 days of the campaign remaining, all efforts will be on pushing onto the £500,000 marker, when the extensive building and development of the three, highly complex cloud-based experiences can begin. Through Brabham-Digital, the team will give fans unprecedented behind-the-scenes access and inspire a new generation of drivers and engineers.

David Brabham commented: “The response so far from around the world for the Brabham name to return to racing, as well as the transparent model of open source racing has been amazing. Already we are engaging with our community of supporters, asking for their opinions on what perks they would like to see. So we have listened and come up with a great Christmas gift for people to give a present to someone special. Anyone contributing to any of our crowdfunding packages can consider themselves as playing a key part in bringing Brabham Racing back to the track.”

The first to back Brabham Racing’s vision though crowdfunding will enjoy exclusive rewards only available until November 1, 2014, while anyone donating more than one pound can get from three years and up to lifetime access to one or all three of the Brabham-Digital web applications of Brabham-Fan, Brabham-Driver and Brabham-Engineer.
