With 2014 drawing to a close we’ve got the best season review shows and race replays to bring you up to speed with the main events from a great year of motorsport.
In case you missed it first time around, we’re showing highlights from the FIA World Rally Championship season finale, Wales Rally GB, throughout the weekend.
Last time out at Rally de España, Sebasiten Ogier took victory over Volkswagen team-mate Jari-Matti Latvala and claimed his second successive title. In Wales the drivers take on the difficult and muddy forest roads for this concluding round of the WRC, which also represents Mikko Hirvonen’s final outing before retirement from the championship.
Also hitting the screen this weekend is the Italian Motorcycle Road Race season review, covering the Moto3, 600 Supersport and Superbike categories from Italy’s premier two-wheeled series.
In fact we’ve got review shows aplenty, including the FIM Enduro World Championship, the British GT Championship, Eurocup Clio and the British Formula 3 Championship.
The 61st Macau Grand Prix took place in the early hours of last weekend, so we’re replaying all the action from the single-seater and motorcycle contests at the Guia circuit. The historic race always promises great wheel-to-wheel racing, and this year’s event was no exception with a first lap pile-up that almost wiped out the entire field – definitely worth a watch!
On Saturday afternoon the ever-entertaining Supercross de Bercy comes to Motors TV as the riders battle it out for the King of Bercy title, which relocates to Lille for the first time in its 30-year history due to reconstruction work at its traditional Paris Palais Omnisports home.
We’ve also got highlights from V8 Supercars’ trip to Phillip Island to whet your appetite for the season finale in Sydney. Jamie Whincup travelled to the 4.45 kilometre circuit looking to seal a record-breaking sixth series title.And on Sunday evening, we’re heading to Florida for highlights from the final round of the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The event wraps up the 2014 season after Chase Elliott made history last time out as the youngest driver to win the title.
