“BREAKFAST WITH MICHAEL ANDRETTI” PROGRAM & WATKINS GLEN INTERNATIONAL BUS TRIP PLANNED
Charity fundraising events scheduled for Watkins Glen International
The Michael Andretti Foundation will be hosting two fundraising events as part of the Indy Racing League’s inaugural visit to Watkins Glen International. The “Breakfast with Michael Andretti” program, a VIP breakfast and tour, as well as the Watkins Glen, NY bus trip, a one-day bus trip from Nazareth, PA to Watkins Glen International on race day, will take place during the Inaugural Watkins Glen Indy Grand Prix, presented by Argent Mortgage, September 23rd – 25th, 2005.
The “Breakfast with Michael Andretti” program will be held on Friday, September 23rd. As a participant in the program, guests will be provided a full-service breakfast served at the Team 7-Eleven hospitality area by the Andretti Green Racing (AGR) chefs. Other activities included in the program are: A question & answer session with AGR owner Michael Andretti; an autograph for each guest from Andretti; a short appearance by Infiniti Pro Series driver, Marco Andretti; Guest speakers and a car tour of an Andretti Green Racing IndyCar®. The event starts at 8:00 am and the cost is $100 per person. Space is limited.
The Watkins Glen International bus trip is scheduled for race day, Sunday, September 25th from Nazareth, PA to Watkins Glen, NY. Guests will be able to travel in the comfort of a tour bus and won't have to worry about any traffic and parking issues getting to and from the track. It is a one day trip that will depart and return from Nazareth, PA. The bus will leave at approximately 7:00 am and will return at the conclusion of the IndyCar Series race. Package includes a reserved grandstand ticket, along with roundtrip transportation for $100. If you would like to reserve a spot, please contact: foundation@andretti.com. The deadline for reserving seats is: September 1st or whenever the bus fills to capacity.
All proceeds from these fundraisers will be donated to The Michael Andretti Foundation. Fans can secure a spot at either event by sending an e-mail to: foundation@andretti.com. Donations are tax deductible. Specific schedules & more information pertaining to the event will be communicated with the participants and will be available on the Foundation website at: www.andretti.com. Please note that all inclusions are subject to change depending on alterations in the schedule made by the track, the IRL or AGR.
