Motors TV and the British Women Racing Drivers Club launch new partnership

Motors TV and the British Women Racing Drivers' Club (BWRDC) will launch a new mutually beneficial partnership this summer with the aim of increasing the profile of women competing in motorsport and engaging with the 'High Speed Television' channel's female viewers.

The partnership will see Motors TV provide significant support to the BWRDC's members with on-air promotional 'bumpers' as well as special features, including mini blogs and interviews, highlighting the female drivers competing in each of the channel's 80 featured championships.

In addition, BWRDC members will carry the Motors TV logos on their cars and race overalls this season, while several other initiatives are also being developed in what is envisaged to be a long-term agreement between the two parties.

Frederic Viger, Motors TV's Head of Programming and Acquisitions: "We're delighted to have entered into a partnership with the British Women Racing Drivers' Club. We have enjoyed working with the BWRDC in the past and I believe this agreement will be beneficial to both parties.

"Our intention is to engage more closely with our many female viewers and also to increase their numbers and we'll do so by helping the BWRDC's members to boost their media profile through the channel."

Georgie Shaw, PR Officer, British Women Racing Drivers' Club: "This is a brilliant opportunity to promote the BWRDC through Motors TV. We've already had some great support from the channel, so we're keen to forge a long and successful partnership to spotlight women drivers and encourage more to join us and get behind the wheel!"
