Patrick Pearce the current British GT Cup Champion has signed for Lister to drive one of the 2004 specification Lister Storm in the GT Class of the British GT Championship. His co-driver should be announced shortly.
Laurence and the team are looking forward to working with Patrick (22) from Stratford-upon-Avon - Laurence - 'Jamie started with us in the British GT's and has progressed to the top of the field of international Sportscar drivers; we hope to build a long term relationship with Patrick and take him to the top as well'.
Patrick will have his first drive in the Storm this Sunday on the Bugatti circuit. As he says : "When a World Championship winning team gives you a call there can be only one answer, to work with Laurence Pearce (no relation), Jamie Campbell- Walter and the team is a dream come true." Said Pearce. "I can learn so much from one of the best teams in the business".
Lister will be running two 2004 specification cars this season in the British Championship, as already confirmed, the other car will be driven by Jamie and Nathan.
Patrick won the 2003 British GT Cup Title driving the GruppeM Tech9 Porsche GT3 in his debut season in GT racing, he went on to drive the Rollcentre Racing Mosler in the Bathurst 24hr race in Australia finishing 5th.
