After having joined Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS last year TS Corse, the Italian team led by Stefano Turchetto, has confirmed two cars in the Fast Lane Promotion series for 2014.
The firstonce more driven by Pietro Peccenini, ’73, the senior driver of the category. The experienced driver from Milan will take up the challange once more after showing good potential in 2013.
This year Peccenini will not be alone "Along with him, we will also have a youngster in our team. - declared Turchetto - Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS is the best Series to grow in. At this stage there are several drivers interested and shortly we will announce the name.2
"My expectations are very high. Last year everything was new, and the level was extremely high. This year I’m confident and I think I’m fit also psychologically. I will try to join the top ten. My start was great but I’m still a rookie. I do still have a margin. Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS is one of the most challenging schools in motorsport. This is a challege I’m eager to accept." commented of Peccenini.
The first of the seven double venues will be in Imola on the 6th April weekend, for then moving to Pau and Red Bull Ring (11th and 25th May), Spa-Francorchamps (8th June), Monza (6th July), Mugello (7th September) and ending in Jerez (5th October).
