Date announced for the 2027 Royal Automobile Club Concours

Woodcote Park to host third celebrated showcase alongside returning RM Sotheby’s Summer Sale

The third edition of the Royal Automobile Club Concours will take place in the glorious grounds of Woodcote Park, set in the rolling Surrey Downs, on Wednesday 7 July 2027.

Following the success of its first two editions, the award-winning Concours will once again celebrate outstanding highlights from automotive history, while showcasing the Royal Automobile Club’s unique heritage and enduring contribution to motoring and motorsport.

Carefully curated Concours and Feature displays will bring together some of the world’s finest road and racing cars, creating a spectacular showcase against the stunning backdrop of Woodcote Park. Further details of the 2027 Concours, including ticket information, will be announced later this year, with access available through invited clubs and organisations.

Adding another dynamic dimension to the event, leading international auction house RM Sotheby’s will return to Woodcote Park with its Summer Sale, following the success of its inaugural auction at the venue in 2026.

“This year’s Club Concours was a memorable occasion, with glorious sunshine and Woodcote Park’s clubhouse, gardens and greens providing a wonderful backdrop for magnificent motor vehicles,” said Duncan Wiltshire, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club.

“In a very short time, the Club Concours has established itself as one of the highlights of the UK automotive calendar, providing a bridge between the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and the Festival of Speed at Goodwood – a slot it will fill once again in 2027.

“We are also delighted to welcome back RM Sotheby’s – a close friend of the Club, both through its Summer Sale at Woodcote Park and its enthusiastic support for the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.”

RM Sotheby’s is equally pleased to have established such a splendid new home for one of its two major UK auction dates. The other is its flagship London sale at The Peninsula London, one of the capital’s most refined settings, which takes place on the eve of the RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.

“In just two years, the Woodcote Park Concours has established itself as a wonderful addition to the UK Concours scene and has proved to be a resounding success,” said Sholto Gilbertson, Head of UK Sales at RM Sotheby’s.

“Our inaugural 2026 auction enjoyed fantastic results and was our most successful UK Summer Sale ever, and we are very much looking forward to returning in 2027.”

Two of the star cars from July’s event will be on show to allcomers at the St James’s Motoring Spectacle in central London on Saturday 31 October.

Organised by the Royal Automobile Club and staged outside its clubhouse on Pall Mall, which is closed to through traffic for the duration, the free-to-attend Spectacle offers visitors the opportunity to see a spectacular collection of past, present and future vehicles. Providing a taste of the 2026 Concours, the Best in Show-winning 1953 Jaguar C-type and eye-catching Chairman’s Choice-winning 1970 Plymouth Superbird will be among around 150 cars on display on Pall Mall. The C-type is currently gracing the rotunda at the Royal Automobile Club's distinguished clubhouse in Westminster.

The announcement of the 2027 date marks the start of another exciting chapter for the Royal Automobile Club Concours, which has quickly become an important fixture in the UK’s summer motoring calendar. With its unique combination of exceptional cars, the historic Woodcote Park setting, Club heritage and the return of RM Sotheby’s Summer Sale, the 2027 event promises another memorable celebration of the very best of motoring and motorsport.
