Tom’s first chance to do some testing with the Honda Civic came last week at Pembrey

The Arena Motorsport team got to try some new set ups during the test at the Welsh track and used the opportunity to get more familiar with the demands of the new specification Dunlop tyres. Tom came away from the test looking forward to the next rounds of the BTCC at Oulton Park this coming weekend.

“ We used a lot of the information we got at Brands to fine tune our set up for the new rubber. I definitely felt we have made some steps in the right direction. The team have overcome all of the small difficulties we found when we raced on these tyres for the first time. Now I am very happy with the car. It will be interesting at Oulton to see where we are compared to the other teams. “

Rounds 10, 11 and 12 take place this Sunday 19th June and ITV1’s coverage will start at 16.00. Motors TV will show all the races live commencing at 12.00pm.
