Silverstone Forum Introduces Motorsport to Disabled Drivers
If you have a disability and would like to take part in Motorsport (car and motorcycle), join Motorsport Endeavour Club members at their next event on Saturday 16th July to find out how to get started. To be held in the prestigious British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) clubrooms overlooking the circuit at Silverstone, at this 'Get on the Grid' forum you will meet successful disabled racing drivers ready to answer your questions and advise how you might begin to experience the thrill of this exciting sport.
Also on the panel will be club organisers and disabled race marshals to discuss how you can become involved in areas, such as marshalling and time-keeping, should you not wish to compete.
The forum begins at 1100 hrs and includes a light lunch. It should be fun. As well as the chance to meet the drivers, Club members and friends you'll have the opportunity to watch some of the circuit activity from the best viewing area at Silverstone. That weekend is the BRSCC Race Meeting for Formula Ford, Sports 2000, Radicals, T-Cars and Caterhams. Cost for the day is just £5, including lunch.
