I quickly found a very goodrhythm and didn’t feel like I was pushing too hard, but still Iincreased the gap to the others behind constantly. I am happywith this victory and hope that at the next meeting we will beable to keep up this rhythm and continue improving our performance. The only thing left now is to thank my team forthe great work they have done this weekend”.
Championship leader, Javier Villa, said, “The 1st race wentreally well. I made a good start and quickly went from 6th to 4thposition. When Aicart and Barba crashed in front of me, I tookover the 2nd position. During the afternoon race my car wasn’tperfect and my start wasn’t too good either. I was fighting a lotduring the race and in the end 3rd position isn’t bad at all. I amhappy that we were able to increase the gap in thechampionship standings for me as a driver as well as for theteam”.
