Lydden Legend Festival will return in August 2027, following the success of the second edition of the event this summer
Created as a celebration of the rich history of rallycross and rallying at the world’s oldest rallycross venue, the Lydden Legend Festival will build on the momentum of its own event and that of the founding Loheac Legend Festival in France by moving from a Bi-Annual date to a yearly occasion from 2027.
‘LLF26’ this year hosted some of the most renowned stars and cars from both rallying and rallycross, with over 100 entries of historically significant cars, and a host of special guests. The event featured Group B machines to rallycross Supercars, World Rally Cars and an incredible range two-wheel-drive machinery, Lydden Legend Festival setting a new benchmark in the UK for weekend-long on-track activity combined with paddock interview activations, autograph sessions and gala ceremonies.
The 2027 edition of Lydden Legend Festival is set to include a range of changes that will be announced in the coming months, including adaptions to the rally category sessions on track to improve the spectacle for both drivers and fans alike, and an increased portfolio of static displays from a range of car clubs.
Loheac in France will host its third Legend Festival next May, while ‘LLF27’ will run in August, the date set to be announced following confirmation of the international motor sport calendar.
