Risi Competizione will close out the 2026 IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup (IMEC) Championship this weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, October 1-3, as the Houston, Texas-based Ferrari team returns to the site of its historic inaugural Petit Le Mans victory in 1998.
The 29th annual Motul Petit Le Mans will mark the fifth and final round of the 2026 IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup and the season finale for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Risi Competizione has a long and successful history at Road Atlanta, winning the inaugural Petit Le Mans in 1998 with its Ferrari 333 SP. The team has added four more victories in the prestigious 10-hour endurance classic – in 2008 and 2009 with the Ferrari 430 GT, and in 2016 and 2019 with the Ferrari 488 GTE.
Risi Competizione was also the inaugural winner of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup Championship in 2022.
Although Risi Competizione and its full-season IMEC drivers, Daniel Serra and Davide Rigon, are not in contention for the championship this year, the team has competed in all four previous endurance events. The No. 62 Ferrari 296 GT3 recorded DNFs in both the Rolex 24 At Daytona and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring before rebounding with fifth- and eighth-place finishes, respectively, in the six-hour endurance races at Watkins Glen and Road America.
Joining Rigon and Serra in the No. 62 Ferrari 296 GT3 in the GTD PRO class will be Alessandro Pier Guidi, a three time overall winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, four-time FIA WEC champion and a familiar member of the Risi Competizione family.

The 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship finale will feature 54 entries, including 14 cars in the GTD PRO class. Risi Competizione will face another Ferrari 296 GT3 in the class, with former Risi drivers James Calado and Miguel Molina sharing the driving duties. Four additional Ferrari 296 GT3s are entered in the GTD class.
The 2.54-mile, 12-turn Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta circuit is known for its fast, flowing layout, significant elevation changes and challenging traffic management, making the 10-hour Petit Le Mans one of the most demanding endurance races on the IMSA calendar.
The Motul Petit Le Mans will begin at 12:10 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 3, with live television coverage on NBC beginning at 12:00 noon. Fans can watch the entire 10-hour race live and flag-to-flag on Peacock, beginning at noon. IMSA's YouTube channel will provide a live international feed outside the United States, while IMSA Radio will cover select sessions live at IMSA.com and RadioLeMans.com.
GTD PRO qualifying will take place Friday, October 2, at 2:20 p.m. ET and will run for 15 minutes. The session will be available live on Peacock and the IMSA YouTube channel.
