Ladies day at the Ace Cafe

The excellent Ace Cafe in north London is holding itsannual and legendary Ladies' Day on Sunday 21 August.

Female motoring enthusiasts have been invited to displaytheir bikes, cars, vans, trucks, classic and vintagemachines, while entertainments include firemen to giveyour own car a hose-down and a live auction featuringsome fantastic lots kindly donated by WOMAC's patronsand supporters of the Ace.

It's a fun day out intended to raise the profile of womenin motoring. It would be great if you were to come along,meet some interesting people and have some fun. Meet otherpetrolheadettes who are as passionate about their wheelsas you are about yours. You can even bring your man andthe kids along, too - there will be plenty to do and see.

This year's shindig is raising money for WOMAC (Women OnThe Move Against Cancer) and the emphasis is on fun. Themain theme is to promote women in all forms of motoring,with guests invited from the worlds of drag racing, motorsport, classics and customs - both two-wheeled and four.And if you're thinking about getting more involved in anyof these, this may well give you the incentive to takethe plunge.
