For Menards Infiniti Pro Series Rules Violations

]The Indy Racing League penalized IRL Menards Infiniti Pro Series™ team Vision Racing 16 entrant points and fined the team an undisclosed amount for a technical rules violation found on the No. 20 car during post-race inspection following the Bluegrass 100 at Kentucky Speedway on Aug. 13.

Vision Racing was penalized for violating Rule 100 G. (1) from Appendix B of the Menards Infiniti Pro Series Rule Book (Technical Specifications).

Vision Racing may contest the imposition of the penalty pursuant to the protest and appeal procedures in the Rule Book.  This may result in an increase, decrease or no change to the penalty.

The next Menards Infiniti Pro Series race is the Pikes Peak 100 on Aug. 21 at Pikes Peak International Raceway. The race will be telecast on ESPN2 at 3 p.m. (EDT) on Aug. 25.
