SAXMAX is a unique new motor racing championship offering affordable car racing for teenagers too young to hold a driving licence. At last, 100 miles per hour, wheel-to-wheel racing with all the spectacle, drama and glamour motor sport guarantees. A real-life gladiatorial challenge and adrenalin rush for teenagers bored with video games and frustrated at being mere spectators.
Based on the hugely successful Stock Hatch series, SAXMAX will be exclusively for 14 to 17 year-olds driving identical specification Citroën Saxo VTR race-prepared cars.
There will be championship races at major international motor racing circuits throughout Great Britain with points awarded according to finishing position. The SAXMAX Champion will be the driver who scores the most points each year.
SAXMAX will be wholly organised by the Seven Fifty Motor Club (750MC) which has been successfully promoting motor sport events for more than 65 years.
It is anticipated that the SAXMAX will be granted full Championshipapproval by the Motor Sports Association (MSA).
To be eligible to compete, drivers must have successfully passed an assessment course approved by the MSA. All SAXMAX cars must meet safety standards in excess of those required by the MSA.
