F1 STOCK CARS THUNDER INTO WIMBLEDON STADIUM

Spedeworth Southern  plays host to the mighty Brisca Formula 1 Stock Cars, when they make a special appearance at Wimbledon Stadium on Sunday August 28 17th at 5pm. National Banger four a side team racing and the Ministox will support the visiting cars.

The Brisca F1 Stock Cars, powered by their massive American V8 engines, always put on a spectacular show as the big cars thunder around the circuit at top speed, removing the opposition with their massive front bumpers and testing the Wimbledon safety fence to the maximum. With the drivers racing in the formula’s World Semi-Final consolation race those bumpers are certain to be going in at every opportunity as the big cars duel to be first under the chequered flag.

The bumpers will also be put to good use when the National Bangers (limited to under 1400cc) take to the track in a series of four a side team races. Banger team racing is not for the faint hearted as the drivers go all out to get their car over the finishing line first while attempting to stop their opponents doing the same by just about means possible.

The Ministox round off an excellent night’s racing at Plough Lane. Piloted by young (11-16 year old) drivers the armoured Minis allow kids the chance to gain the experience needed to compete in stock car racing while showcasing the sport’s future talent. 

With the awesome F1 Stock Cars taking to the track, plus National Banger team racing settling and Ministox it will be a night to remember when the green flag falls at Wimbledon Stadium, Britain’s finest Stock Car racing circuit, on August 28th
