Formula Woman Announces Title Sponsor

......for Nations Cup

GBVP.com to sponsor all female racing challenge

Women racing drivers from around the world are coming to England to compete in the GBVP.com Formula Woman Nations Challenge at Rockingham Motor Speedway on 27th/28th August.

GBVP (Genuine blue V pill) is a product designed for erectile dysfunction. GBVP also produce a similar product for women. GBVP will be sponsoring the televised Formula Woman Nations Cup using their on line service GBVP.com

History is being made on two counts; for over 100 years men have dominated the world of motor racing and for the first time in The UK women from 4 different continents will compete against each other to decide who the fastest girl in the world will be. This is also a first for GBVP in sponsoring an International sporting event.

Entries have been confirmed from Australia, South Africa and America to add to a strong British team representing England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Sweden, Poland and The Netherlands will also be represented. The girls will meet for the first time at Dunsfold Park Test Track in Surrey (Home of BBC's Top Gear) where they will test drive their brand new Caterham race cars. TV coverage is on Motors TV (Sky channel 413) who will be broadcasting the races across Europe on the 10th September.

A spokesperson from GBVP said, "Our product is all about getting excited, motor racing is all about excitement and with 16 girls driving what better way is there of marketing our range."

Formula Woman was televised on ITV 1 last year and has inspired women from all walks of life to put on their crash helmets and have a go.  10,000 entries were received where 16 girls were selected in a TV reality style series.  Entries for next years' novice championship are flooding in and Formula Woman's chief instructor and ex British Touring Car Champion Tim Harvey said, "Women are more independent and adventurous nowadays, they can drive and want to prove they can compete at a competitive level as in any other sport"

Rockingham Motor Speedway is situated in Corby Northants and entry price is £12 adults (children free). The two GBVP.com Formula Woman races are on Sunday 28th August at 10.55 and 14.30.
