Autosport International, the world's biggest motorsport show, is set topresent the biggest and best show yet, on 14 and 15 January 2006, as itroars in to the NEC.  Now filling over one million square feet of thepremier Birmingham venue, Autosport International marks the official startto the motorsport season, where the latest racing and road cars sit side byside with motor racing stars.

The entire spectrum of motorsport will be brought together under one roof atthe NEC, from Karting to Formula One, World Rally to British and WorldTouring Cars to Le Mans 24-hour.  Autosport International is your chance tonot only see but also get up close to monster racing machines from acrossthe globe.  But don't forget to bring your autograph book, as you are likelyto rub shoulders with international motor racing stars as previous guestshave included Jenson Button, David Coulthard and Eddie Irvine, to name afew.

Brand new for 2006 is an exclusive Paddock Pass ticket available at £31.This special pass gives holders access to the new paddock area builtbackstage in the Live Action Arena where you can get up close to the carsand talk to the drivers.  You will also get fast-track entry and priorityseating in the Live Action Arena plus the opportunity to watch extraperformances from the sidelines.  This fantastic offer also includesexclusive access to the Driver Signing Area with the opportunity to obtainautographs from your racing heroes.

The Live Action Arena, presented by Fulda Tyres, will certainly be biggerand better than ever before.  The 4,500 seater indoor arena, speciallyconstructed for the duration of the show, will now be increased by astaggering 1,000 additional seats.

Amongst the most unbelievable array of cars, drivers and stunts will be twoof the Scuderia Ecosse Ferrari 360 GTC's, driven by 2005 British GTChampions Andrew Kirkaldy and Nathan Kinch.  To accommodate the thrilling45-minute Live Action performance, even the track has had to be made bigger.

Fulda Tyres will be making a particularly dramatic entrance at AutosportInternational 2006, with the awesome Maybach Exelero.  Appearing for thefirst time in the UK, this one-off machine is fitted with the latest FuldaUHP (ultra-high-performance) Exelero tyre.  The car, which will be thecentral feature of the Fulda stand, weighs in at more than 2.66 tons withthe turbo-charged 5.9-litre engine delivering 700hp to 23-inch tyres.

Autosport International will present a brand new, interactive DrivingExperience for 2006 visitors, allowing members of the public to get firmlyin the driving seat.  Located in Hall 4, the Activity Hall will present allmanner of dynamic, adrenalin pumping driving activities, including KartingOxford who will once again be presenting the challenging indoor kartcircuit.
