Full throttle for The Stroke Association

For the 11th year running, The Stroke Association is hosting its popular motor event at Castle Combe Circuit, just off the M4 in Wiltshire, on Saturday 1st October.

Enthusiasts get the chance to ride flat out in cars including an Ultima Spider, Radical, Maserati, Porsche and many others, which are being driven by celebrity and professional drivers including Simon Taylor and Kevin Bristow.

'This is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to experience the thrill of the race track," commented John Williams Regional Fundraising Manager for The Stroke Association in the South West.

"Our annual car day is a thrilling family event that will help The Stroke Association raise vital funds for our community support services. It promises to be a superb day out, and would also make a memorable and affordable gift for someone special.

"The smiles on the faces said it all." was Classic World Rally Champion Kevin Bristow's reaction to last year's event.

During the one-hour driver's lunchtime, visitors on the track are welcome to drive their own cars around the circuit for a small donation.
