V8 Stock Cars World Final

AT WIMBLEDON STADIUM

Spedeworth South  brings the ground-shaking V8 Stock Cars to Wimbledon Stadium to battle it out for the World Championship on Sunday September 25th at 5pm.

The mighty American V8 powered cars have been highly entertaining around the circuits this season and with the top drivers lining up to attempt to claim the formula’s biggest and most sought after title, the scene is set for some action-packed racing at Plough Lane

To add to the night’s excitement the all-action Lightning Rods will be in action in their European Championship event. The Ford Sierra based Lightning Rods have earned a fearsome reputation among stock car fans for their no-holds barred racing style. Officially a non-contact formula the sheer size and speed of the cars often results in plenty of wrecks before the racing is over. Not for nothing are the cars nicknamed ‘Frightening Rods’ as spectators will see on the night.

With two formulas in action, plus the chance to see the awesome V8 Stock Cars settle their 2005 World Championship, and the high-speed Lightning Rods sort out their European title Spedeworth South delivers another great night’s racing for all the family at Wimbledon Stadium, Britain’s finest stock car racing circuit.
