Team Cadillac CTS-V Driver and SPEED World Challenge GT Points Leader Andy Pilgrim Will Be Live From The Paddock at Laguna Seca LOS GATOS, CA, Oct 10
JustRacing.com is proud to welcome Team Cadillac CTS-V driver and SPEED World Challenge GT points leader Andy Pilgrim to the JustRacing Seminar Series. Brought to you live from the paddock at the season-closing event at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Andy will be talking about both his accomplishments with Team Cadillac and his career as a professional racing driver as well as answering questions in real-time from JustRacing.com’s community of racing enthusiasts.
“I am looking forward to giving JustRacing.com’s members some personal insights into this incredible season with Team Cadillac,” Andy Pilgrim said.
“It will be just like they’re there in the paddock with me.” “Andy Pilgrim is one of the best sports car drivers in the world,” JustRacing.com CEO Mark Dadgar said. “Given his fifty-plus career victories, including an overall win at the 24 Hours Of Daytona, we couldn’t be more excited to have him join the JustRacing Seminar Series.”
Andy Pilgrim is recognized as one of the world's best sports car drivers, having amassed over 50 victories in 10 different series of competition.
Notable racing accomplishments include 20 IMSA Firestone Firehawk Endurance Championship wins in 106 starts, 4 second-place finishes at the 24-Hours Of Le Mans, wins at both the 24-Hours Of Daytona and the 12-Hours Of Sebring, and a host of victories and podium finishes as a GM factory driver in the legendary Corvette C5-R, including the team's first victory at Texas in 2000. In 2004, Cadillac chose Pilgrim to champion the brand's return to motorsports with the CTS-V race car. Pilgrim returned the favor with consistent driving, highlighted by coming from the back of the pack to an incredible 2nd place finish after having no clutch for the standing start of Cadillac's debut race at Sebring.
The 2005 SPEED World Challenge GT season has been the stuff of legend, with Andy leading the points chase into the final event of the year at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Andy will be online at JustRacing.com/seminar on Saturday, October 15 at 1:30 PM PST to chat real-time with fans.
Race enthusiasts are encouraged to submit their questions for Andy during the seminar. To check out what's next on the JustRacing Seminar Series or to read transcripts of past seminars, please visit justracing for more information.
