Last Chance To Qualify For F1 Driver Search Grand Finals

in November 13th Round Eight of the PanGlobal Alex Yoong Karting programmeThe final round (round 8) of the 2005 PanGlobal Alex Yoong F1 Driver Search which enables participants to qualify for the Grand Finals will be held on the 13th November 2005 at the Sepang International Kart circuit.

This round 8 will pick the final five qualifiers to join the 35  already qualified from round 1 to round 7 in the Grand Finals where the champion will be determined to received the grand prize of a  Formula BMW test drive.

Round 1 to round 7, held in various kart circuits around Peninsula Malaysia in the states of Selangor, Terengganu and Penang, were participated by more than 200 karters.

Malaysia's former F1 driver and present A1GP national driver, Alex Yoong said, "The quality of this year's field has been consistently good. We expect the Grand Finals to be closely contested as there are not much to choose amongst the 35 qualifiers so far."

The Grand Finals will be also held at the Sepang International Kart circuit on the 18th December 2005.
