MOTORS TV UK airs Grand Prix Masters

WITH MANSELL, JONES AND FITTIPALDI!

Motors TV UK has confirmed that it will broadcast the first round of the new Grand Prix Masters series from the Kyalama circuit in South Africa on Saturday 12th November (qualifying) and Sunday 13th November (race).

The new series has made several coups by securing the talents of former Formula 1 stars such as 1992 F1 World Champion and 1993 Champ Car Champion Nigel Mansell, double F1 World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi and 1980 F1 World Champion Alan Jones.  Ex-Ferrari and French Renault Formula 1 drivers Patrick Tambay and René Arnoux will also be making an appearance.  More ex-F1 faces will be joining them such as Italians Riccardo Patrese and Andrea De Cesaris, as well as German Christian Danner and Dutch Jan Lammers.  French superstar and four-time F1 World Champion Alain Prost may also take up the challenge if he accepts the invitation to the series.

They will all drive the same 200mph-plus carbon fibre single-seater vehicles powered by a V8 Cosworth 3.5 litre engine boasting more than 600bhp.  This great idea, similar to the Tennis masters, promises an action-packed show oozing high-profile super stars and it’s guaranteed that there will be no team orders and no favours once the racing gets going!  This is going to be motorsport at its best for the fans.

The first race will take place on the famous Kyalami circuit, near Johannesburg in South Africa and both qualifying and the race will be broadcast live on Motors TV UK, a show that cannot be missed.
