Such is the level of competitor interest in historic stage rallying that there seems to be a shortage of co-drivers as the 2006 season approaches.The HRCR is aware of a number of vacancies for co-drivers for the Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the HRCR Classic Stage Rally Challenge and the HRCR/Cotswold MSG Clubman Stage Rally Challenge.To try and find suitable co-drivers, Brian Thomas has agreed to continue to run his ‘dating agency’ on behalf of the HRCR in an attempt to pair up suitable people. "We already have five regular contenders on the list wanting co-drivers, ranging from competitive, to mildly competitive and to those just out for fun," says Thomas. Having jumped into the co-driver's seat from time to time, Thomas may well offer his own services again in 2006. Co-drivers are asked to contact Thomas if they are available for any or all the rounds, and drivers looking for co-drivers are also urged to register.
