Ultimate Bike Racing

The Le Touquet Enduropale motorbike race is legendary. More than a thousand riders take part, on a course that comprises a flat-out blast along the beach for several kilometres, followed by a charge over sand dunes between the beach and the town on the way back. Motors TV brings you highlights of the 2005 race, widely expected to be the last run in its present format, due to pressure from environmental groups. Join more than 450,000 spectators, for the best view of the race on Motors TV. The Le Touquet Enduropale is followed on Motors by the UK’s equivalent, the Weston Beach Race, from Weston Super-Mare in Somerset. More than 600 riders from Europe and America took part in the 2005 race, over the three mile course, with classes for sidecars and quads also on the sand.
