Team O is the name of a new operation being created to contest the Porsche Carrera Cup GB. Pete Osbourne will race the team's 911GT3 Cup car in 2006 at the start of what is planned to be a three-year Carrera Cup campaign.During 2005 Osbourne contested selected British GT races, but is now planning to contest the new professional-amateur category within the Carrera Cup. The new team will be based in Nottinghamshire."We decided to set up our own team," says team manager Andy Felton. "We want to focus for three years on the Carrera Cup and this will be a good learning year for all of us."Osbourne, MD of a logistics company, has three seasons of racing behind him, having also previously raced in TVR Tuscans.
