Dunlop has announced that the inaugural season of Great and British Festivals will be covered on two major television channels in 2006.
At least six of the nine 2006 Dunlop Great and British Motorsport Festivals will be shown on Sky Sports which reaches 8 million homes in the UK and Eire. This will be a programme showing the best of the action from the four major championships on the Great and British bill, Radical Enduro, Radical BiDuro, Ginetta and Mini Challenge.
In addition, dedicated 30 minute programmes focusing on the Radical, Ginetta and Mini Challenges exclusively will be shown on Motors TV which reaches 15 million homes across Europe. In addition, highlights from the events will feature in global weekly motorsport magazine programmes, Motorsport Mundial, Max Power and Motorsport Asia, which go out to combined total of 500 million homes worldwide.
“These programmes provide broad television coverage for each of the championships, and will provide thrilling action for viewers. Having four of Britain’s best supported one-make championships on the same programme is a recipe for non-stop action. In addition, this will mean that competitors can offer outstanding coverage to sponsors” stated James Bailey of Dunlop.
The programmes will be filmed, produced and distributed by Greenlight Television. Greenlight have been producing motorsport programmes for over ten years and work for clients in Formula One, MotoGP and the World Rally Championship.
