NRG Events Ltd has amnnounced the 2006 events calendar line-up for the D1GB and Time Attack Series as follows :

Round 1 - May 28th (Sun) RockinghamRound 2 - June 17th (Sat) Silverstone (National)Round 3 - July 2nd (Sun) RockinghamRound 4 - August 20th (Sun) Silverstone (National)Round 5 - September 17th (Sun) RockinghamRound 6 - October 1st (Sun) Silverstone (National)

Glen Horncastle said ‘Both the D1GB National Championship and the Time Attack Series will both take place on the same day and at the same venue although they will retain their individual event integrity and these circuits have been tested and selected to meet this requirement. There are some fantastic circuits in the UK and we have tested many and feel that our final decisions represent a solid start for 2006 and the first ever D1GB and Time Attack events line-up.’

Andy Barnes commented ‘The circuits and dates have been chosen to represent the best available for our requirements and that of the competitors, confirming an exciting line-up for this year. Not only will all competitors benefit from the professional surroundings of a familiar Silverstone, but they will also see vast changes in circuit layout at Rockingham to suit the needs of our competitors.’
