Spedeworth South will deliver another action packed night of racing when the Superstox, Lightning Rods, Rookie Rods and the 2.0 Hot Rods take to the track at Wimbledon Stadium on Sunday February 26th at 5pm.
The crowd-pleasing Superstox will be in action showcasing their high-powered racing and extensive use of the front bumpers to get around the track as they compete in the opening round of the Safari Land Rover Challenge Round 2.
The Rookie Rods, evenly matched, budget racers, always provide serious bumper to bumper racing at Plough Lane and with points on the table for the FGS Race Engine Challenge that racing action is likely to be intense from the second the green flag waves.
There will be more non-contact action when the awesome 2.0 Hot Rods take to the track. The lightweight and highly tuned 2.0 Rods always put on a great show at Plough Lane and fans can expect to see plenty of very close racing as the drivers burn up the circuit in pursuit of points in Round 2 of the Ludlow Chassis Challenge series.
To complete a great four formula racing card, the awesome Lightning Rods will be in action in Round 2 of the Lowman and Jones Racing Engine Challenge. The Ford Sierra based Lightning Rods always provide jaw-dropping racing action as the drivers wrestle the big cars around Plough Lane at extremely high speed. One mistake and the night’s racing for a Lightning Rod can come to a very expensive halt on the safety fence – not that that fact stops the drivers planting the pedal very firmly to the metal when the green flag drops.
With four great formulas in action, offering something for fans of contact and non-contact racing, Spedeworth offers another great value for money night out at Wimbledon Stadium, Britain’s finest stock car racing circuit.
