After a briefing and route instructions at Rally HQ on the morning of Saturday May 27th,competitors will be handed their road books and will be flagged away by Paddy Hopkirk on the first stage of the inaugural Endeavour Northamptonshire.

Highlighting the county's commitment to motorsport,the event is based entirely within Northamptonshire and combines sections on picturesque yet challenging roads with driving experiences at selected race circuits within the county.

Promoted by Motorsport Endeavour,the organisation that gets people with disabilities involved with motorsport and the wider world of cars (motorsportendeavour.com) entries to date include amputees and paraplegics,people with spina bifida and stroke victims while disabled entrants from Russia and Australia are presently making plans to join the UK contingent.Run under MSA regulations that do not requirea competition licence,competitors enter their unmodified road car while service crews from the AA will be on hand throughout in case a competitor has vehicle trouble.The organisers of the annual Tour Britannia have contributed their organisational expertise to the event and this has enabled the entry fee to be kept as low as possible...a two person team can take part in the weekend's fun for £75.00pp or £150.00 per team.

Crews requiring overnight accomodation can take advantage of the special rates at the hotel used as Rally HQ,the Express Holiday Inn adjacent to J.15 of the M1.On the evening of Sunday May 28th,the event concludes with a dinner for competitors at the Marriot Northampton with trophies and prizes from Direct Line,NGK Spark Plugs and Green Leopard.
