WSbR testing at Barcelona

This morning, thirty Formula Renault 3.5 cars will take to the track after a winter break of more than three months. At the Barcelona circuit, we will have our first chance to see the newcomers in action or to see WSR regulars take to the track in new colours!

Shimoda joins VictoryAfter participating in Eurocup Formula Renault V6, Hayanari Shimoda went on to distinguish himself in Endurance racing and A1 GP. The Japanese driver has joined forces with Victory Engineering where he will line up alongside Alvaro Parente, the British Formula 3 Champion. Team boss Giorgio Piccolo should be able to count on this impressive duo to bring home the goods!

Salignon recruited by InterwettenAfter quietly biding his time throughout the transfer season, Eric Salignon has finally been awarded a drive with Interwetten. This is a good recruitment move for the Austrian team, which will have to choose between Andy Soucek and Carlos Iaconelli to drive its second car.

Full house at EurointernationalAntonio Ferrari's team has finally revealed its two drivers for the season. The Thai driver Tor Graves, who cut his teeth in British Formula Renault, F3 and F3000, will team up with the German driver Pascal Kochem. After finishing fourth in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 in 2004, Kochem took part in the German F3 Championship last year.

Flashback to MisanoAfter a rainy first day, the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 competitors participating in collective testing at Misano were treated to better weather conditions on Friday. The best time went to the South African Adrian Zaugg (Cram Compétition) ahead of Carlo Van Dam (SG Formula) and Edoardo Piscopo (Cram Compétition).
