Anyone for Desert?
The Oman Desert Express is a unique event in the world of motorsport. According to the organisers, it’s a return to ‘grand adventure’, blending motorsport with the discovery of a country and a culture. It’s an endurance rally, running for seven days across the Sultanate of Oman. Competitors don’t know the route until the day of the start and it’s up to them to make sure they have enough food, drink, water and spares for the duration of the event. The winning team completed almost 1400km during the event while the runners-up lost time helping others in trouble on the way. Motors TV shows highlights of this incredible event.
