Race and performance specialist BTB Exhausts has signed an exclusive deal with Tom Walkinshaw Group (TWG) to build Group N rally exhausts.
Daventry-based BTB, which specialises in race and trackday systems and silencers, will manufacture and supply systems for the new Mitsubishi Evo IX Group N rally car built by TWG.
The system, which has been designed by BTB for TWG, includes BTB's own FIA homologated high performance Procat/04.
"This is another affirmation of where BTB sits in the motorsport and performance hierarchy - as a trusted adviser and provider to the royal families of racing," said Joe Ellis, Managing Director of BTB.
"We've successfully collaborated with Tom Walkinshaw Racing before on various road and race projects, but they're not the only top-end race preparation organisation with whom we have a strong relationship.
"Our Procat/04 is already specified for use on the Group N rally cars built by Prodrive amongst others.
"We enjoy the exacting challenges that highly competitive and professional organisations such as TWG lay down for us."
BTB develops and manufacturers exhaust manifolds and systems in a variety of materials for a number of markets.
As well as OE development for car manufacturers, BTB manufacturers exhaust systems for a number of motor racing teams at various levels in the sport, plus limited production runs for specialist aftermarket distributors and bespoke systems to address one-off requirements.
