Max Power Live, the UK’s biggest custom car show is back this summer. From Friday 30th June through to Sunday 2nd July 2006, Birmingham’s NEC will be taken over by the loudest, fastest and most modified cars the world has to offer.
As always, the event will showcase the industry’s top motoring brands and boast a series of amazing show features, visitor experiences and interactive stage performances including:
The Speed Arena: Top cars and skilled drivers burn rubber - the pace is fast, the noise is loud and the stunts are amazing. Experience unbelievable drifting action in the completely new, octane fuelled Speed Arena. Every ticket holder to Max Power Live gets a seat in the Speed Arena for this 45 minute spectacular.
West Coast Customs: The world-famous stars of MTV’s Pimp My Ride will make an exclusive UK appearance at this year’s show, meeting fans and giving advice. The kings of customisation have reworked cars for celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Snoop Dogg, and now West Coast Customs are coming to Max Power Live this year to show us how it’s done Stateside. Go-Karting: Brand new for 2006, Max Power Live will have its very own specially designed outdoor karting track. Drivers can challenge their mates, race against the pros and be in with a chance of becoming the Max Power Live lap time champion.
Core Hall: Making the ‘The Car The Star’, Max Power Live is returning to its roots. In the entrance hall visitors will see more pimped up rides from the UK on display, and more companies than ever will be offering kit to improve even the most modified street machines.
Main Stage: As well as showcasing the Max Babe modeling competition for the eighth year running, the stage will also play host to three of the world’s most amazing custom cars. These unseen motors are being kept top secret until their unveiling!ICE Hall: This year the ever-popular In Car Entertainment section at the show gets it's own dedicated hall showing some of the most breathtaking ICE systems on the planet. From truly bone-shaking bass speakers through to awesome amps, exhibitors will be offering state-of-the-art audio equipment at incredibly discounted prices.
Celeb Signing: Taking pride of place in the new Lifestyle Hall, the new signing area will feature the hottest models in the UK alongside a host of celebrities including the West Coast Customs crew, all signing autographs and meeting fans.
Japanese Performance Village: Max Power Live is exclusively unveiling the Japanese Performance Village this summer. With Japanese imports being more popular than ever in the UK, the show will give enthusiasts a taste of some previously unseen Far Eastern flavors.
Lifestyle Hall: Another new area for 2006! In this hall visitors will find everything they need to compliment a car-fuelled lifestyle. From music to DVDs and gadgets to trendy threads, there is plenty of gear on sale for the most style-conscious of lads.
VIP Treatment: The ‘AAA’ lanyards enable visitors to get up close and personal with celebrity models, meet the legendry members of West Coast Customs, gain fast-track entry and VIP seating in the Speed Arena and get full access into the backstage paddock.
