Alexander (Sasha) Lesnikov dies in crash

Former Russian Rally Champion Alexandr (Sasha) Lesnikov was this weekend the victim of a terrible car crash in Ukraine.  Lesnikov was a passenger in the car, he died in the crash, the driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

In 2002 Lesnikov contested the ERC on a Subaru Impreza WRC.  In 2003 he did the same with a Peugeot 206 WRC tuned by Kronos, who also prepared the car for Bruno Thiry who became European Champion that year.
