Calling All Mini Champions

Champions Photo Call for 40th Anniversary of the Mini 7 Racing Club

On the 16th July the Mini 7 Racing Club, the UK’s longest running single make race series, is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first race at Brands Hatch in July 1966.  As part of the celebrations at the Kent Circuit, a special photo call will take place for all of the Mini Se7en and Mini Miglia champions from the past 40 years of action packed racing.

“We are hoping to attract almost all of the championship winners from the past 40-years,” said club chairman Nick Cooke.  “Sadly not all of our champions are still with us but we will have a big gathering of the people who have contributed greatly to UK motorsport entertainment over the past 40 years.”

The two races for the Dunlop Mini Se7en and Dunlop Mini Miglia Challenges form part of the MG Car Club (MGCC) Festival.  The winners of the special races will also be able to win the coveted ‘O’ number plate, which they can display on their cars until the following season.
