GP2 Bad luck for Trident

After the super result of Saturday, completed with the late credit of one more point to Gimmi Bruni for the fastest lap, yesterday Trident Racing’s drivers have been stopped by a couple of problems. Gimmi Bruni had to retire because of a brake problem while Andreas Zuber, who reached position 8 after starting from P 14, couldn’t continue to gain positions because of the oil spreaded by the car in front of him. Andreas finished the race literally covered with oil.

Gimmi Bruni # 26 – retired

“I did a good start gaining immediately a position but soon the brakes lost efficiency and in a few laps I had to ritire. It’s a pity because the car was good and I could recover some positions more. But I am leaving Imola with 13 points and a nice trophy which is not bad”.
