The Belgian Audi Club scored a podium result in the opening event of the Belgian Touring Car Series (BTCS) at Spa-Francorchamps. Jean-Francois Hemroulle and Timo Verbergt finished second in race two with their Audi A4 Silhouette. The two Belgians, however, had been unable to contest the first heat because Verbergt touched another car on his way to the starting grid when he had to avoid a photographer.
