Euro 3000 Series Testing

Luca Filippi back in a F.3000 car in Valencia *

In two non officia test days which took place in Valencia, four Euroseries 3000 and F.3000 Italian Championship teams took part  - with the  return of Luca Filippi as a special test driver.   The former F.3000 Italia champion, employed by Euronova fpr testing ahead of the next race in Imola, recorded the best times in both the sessions, with an excellent 1'23"93.

Behind him the two Euronova drivers, Vitaly Petrov and Marcello Puglisi, and the two Minardi ones, Juan Caceres and Roldan Rodriguez, now ready to debut in Imola, after missing the first round in Adria.

Alsoon  track was team Autosport with Stefano Gattuso and Gavin Cronje and team Avelon with Oliver Martini and Ivan Bellarosa.

Monday tests were disturbed by a strong wind, but during the second day, the lap times immediately went quicker.
