Jordan aiming at Rallycross podium
Andrew Jordan has set his sights on a podium finish in the Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship this season and his next opportunity will be in round two at Pembrey (South Wales) on 7 May.16 year-old Jordan (Sutton Coldfield) will be racing a 550bhp four-wheel drive Ford Focus built and run by the G-Tech team of former rallycross champion Will Gollop.Andrew got his season off to a fine start at Lydden on Easter Monday, finishing a fighting fifth in the 'A' final and proving that he has adapted extremely well to the new challenge of racing such a powerful car at the top of Rallycross."I really enjoyed Lydden and I think we’ve proved that we’re on the pace. So I’m looking forward to Pembrey," says Andrew. "I’ve been to Pembrey three or four times and have always gone well every time I’ve been there. But it will be a bit different with the Supercar."I’m definitely hoping for a podium finish in a final in the next couple of rounds and maybe a win later in the season. I’d be disappointed if we didn’t get a podium this year," he says.Andrew Jordan is supported by Shell, John Guest, Pirtek, Quaife Engineering and Bill Gwynne Rally School.
