It will be a day of all-action racing when Spedeworth South brings the Stock Cars, 2.0 Hot Rods and Bangers to do battle at Bovingdon Raceway on Sunday May 7th.

The armoured Stock Cars are firm favourites at Bovingdon, where the drivers are always keen to make the best use of the heavy front bumpers to move the opposition out of the way as they charge around the Hertfordshire circuit. When the opposition is determined not to move out of the way there is inevitably going to be plenty of action in the battle to be first under the chequered flag.

For fans of racing that does not involve extensive use of the font bumper to get through the pack, the powerful non-contact 2.0 Hot Rods will be in action. The high-powered rods are always thrilling to watch at Bovingdon with extremely close racing the order of the day.

While the 2.0 Hot Rods will be trying hard to avoid contact the all-action Bangers will be doing just the opposite as they attempt to wrestle their stripped out old wrecks around the track and survive long enough to see the chequered flag raised in Round 2 of their always entertaining track championship.

With a great value for money, three formula racing programme, free parking, and a great view of all the action from high-banked spectator areas, Bovingdon (situated off B4005 Bovingdon, Nr Hemel Hempstead, Herts, on the airfield complex) will provide another action packed day of racing when the green flag waves on May 7th.
